Next-generation Storage Systems
At SSRL, we pursue research broadly in the area of Computer Systems, with specific focuses on storage systems, system architecture, and embedded software. Our current projects explore next-generation storage technologies such as Zoned Namespace (ZNS) SSDs, NVMe, and non-volatile memory, as well as middleware and host-level system software that enable efficient integration with AI accelerators and mobility platforms.
Our mission is to advance system software that fully leverages emerging hardware technologies, enhancing performance, scalability, and dependability for data-intensive applications.
We are actively looking for motivated and passionate students who are eager to explore these research challenges and help shape the next generation of intelligent computing systems.
